Adult Classes

  • Are you an adult that feels self-conscious about your ability to read & write in English?
  • Are you an adult who feels shy or embarrassed about your ability to speak in English and to understand others?
  • Are you a foreign student attending  University in South Africa who is struggling to improve your English literacy skills?
  • Are you a foreign national living in South Africa who would like to improve your language skills?
  • Would you like to find a safe way to improve all of your English literacy skills without having to feel shy or insecure?

I have been helping adult ESL learners (English as a Second Language) develop and improve their English literacy skills for many years now. Based on my experience I know that most adults generally have better skills than they think they have. They are mostly in need of guidance, further skill development, encouragement and someone to help build their confidence levels.

I provide lessons for adult learners in two different ways:

    • Minimum of one session per week depending on what skills need to be developed
    • Payment for the month is upfront

It is my goal to create a safe, patient & caring environment and provide an enjoyable experience where language learners can practice & improve their current skills, develop new knowledge & new skills all while improving their confidence levels.

Having lived overseas, in a country where English was not the spoken language, I understand the difficulties & challenges one faces when living abroad in a country where communicating is a challenge.
